NUFC vs Fulham (15 January 2023)
January 15, 2023NUFC vs Spurs (1 September 2024)
September 1, 2024This was another really important game for us, and given how well the #BringYourScarf campaign went for the Leicester match, we decided that we would push this message again, in what we thought might be a bit of a cup tradition. Cup games are quite unique as in they stand or fall in their own right, and the support of the fans is more important than ever, as we get closer to Wembley, and given this was the last step before, this wanted to be a banging atmosphere.
The main effort for this match was simple, hours in the stadium clearing things away, repairing flags and sharing them out where we could. Of course, wear and tear means that some need replacing so we’d ordered some more for this game which needed to be made up (we order plastic conduit which needs to be cut to size, and order printed fabric flags which have quite a shelf life, if looked after). We had a few players banners which would be put out in a symmetrical way in the Gallowgate, so we pulled out banners for Trippier, Maxi, Miggy, the defensive team, Isak and Bruno.
For this game in particular, the club engaged local DJ Shak to have a set at the front of the Leazes stand and the club encouraged fans to get into the game early.
Canny display, great atmosphere and…
